What video game are you playing and do you like it?

Never heard of it. Is it is a PC game on STEAM?

It is on Steam and consoles

Baldur’s Gate is amazing. There is a learning curve for sure (helps if you know D&D). Played through the game twice, once with a Warlock and once as a Sorcerer.

Playing Elden Ring using the seamless co-op mod and it’s a lot of fun. The mod has some rough edges, but it is really well made. We’ve (3) all enjoyed it and are having fun!

Enshrouded on pc is a blast. Small group and we only play co-op. Expansive and surprising adventure mechanics that are a fresh add to the survival craft genre.

Not the usual genre of the group but I recently started The Division 2. It’s been pretty fun so far. A fairly open world MMO-type similar to Destiny, but set in DC after a biological disaster destroys society.

Made it about 75% through BG3 then fell off a while back. More recently I finished The Alters which was a really cool sci-if management experience. I started Returnal yesterday, keeping with the dark and slippery sci-fi themes

Yea, I think a lot of people get overwhelmed when getting to Act 3 in BG3. There is a lot of content there and some of it matters what order it is completed in. There is also a lot of great loot to be found, but less time to get to use it.

I think that’s what did me in was that fact I didn’t know what order to do what. Also I feel like I was locked out of certain quests without knowing why. Still a great game that I enjoyed playing for many hours.

Yea, I watched several YouTube videos to help with this.

I played a lot of their first game Tainted Grail Conquest, and I’ve been anxiously waiting more free time to try this.

I’m looking forward to this eventually coming to consoles.

Our group did about the same. Loved act I but we struggled to get through act III, not from difficulty but from quest/conversation/interaction overload. Glad we pushed through, really enjoyed it overall.

I’ve been playing a Trese Brothers’ game called Cyber Knights: Flashpoint. It’s very much a x-com clone, but in a cyberpunk universe and has been quite fun so far. I’ve never really clicked with any of their previous games for very long, but I might stick with this one for awhile. There’s also a pretty extensive wiki to help you along as some of the systems can be a bit confusing on introduction.

I am playing a couple of things, Tales of the Shire, a cozy game that is fine but apart from the LotR connection, is utterly forgettable. The other game is The One Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy which is amazing, ambitious, but also super niche as its a visual novel:

Right now there isnt much in the video game space I want to play. I need to get back to Old Skies (which is honestly fantastic) but I have not been in the mood for a PnC adventure game

I have been dabbling Project Diablo 2 though, when my hands permit.

And I always play Lethal Company, PEAK, and REPO with my wife and our friends weekly.

I completed Divinity Original Sin: 2 earlier this year (excellent) online with a good friend, and we moved on to Monster Hunter Rise and bounced off hard. So, I think we are going to try Diablo 2 instead

Ooh! Old Skies is on my list. I loved The Avowed.

have you played the Blackwell games? They are in the same universe as Unavowed, connect to it too. Old Skies is ALSO in that universe (but seems mostly references to events from Unavowed / Blackwell)
