What video game are you playing and do you like it?

Hell is Us looks very cool. Hoping to hold out for a sale on that one. Boarderlands 4 looks good but I’m scared of the bugs that have been experienced. But a split screen shooter sounds so good. Not enough couch co-op these days

Replaying one of my favorite games Outer Worlds. If you love sci-fi you need to play this game! Love the art direction and the sound track is a sci fi lovers dream! So good!

Very much enjoying Ghost of Yotei at the moment. Anyone else playing? I liked Tsushima quite a bit and give a hat tip to Sucker Punch for the tricky task of making a sequel that’s both familiar and new.

My son (16) is also playing and I realized neither he, or my daughter (13), have seen any samurai movies. May correct that soon. Curious if folks have recommendations beyond Kurosawa that would be fun to watch with them.

I loved the Okami movies, but they were quite brutal.

Well my kids have seen some stuff - e.g. watched Bring Her Back with my daughter recently on a whim knowing nothing about it. Cheese and rice :man_facepalming:t2: Whoops.

Violence isn’t a dealbreaker necessarily unless it’s a straight gore fest. Will look into the Okami films. Thanks!

Your ronin might enjoy…

Yes, this is one of the best samurai series. I really loved season 1.

The Okami movies are based on the Lone Wolf and the Cub mangas, but they are more or less splatter movies. The enemies have a very high blood pressure and around 50 liters blood per body

Ball X Pit. This is the best video game I’ve played in ages. I am absolutely hooked. This will be the next game to be featured on the digital dive.

Oh gosh, this is an addictive one! Been sneaking time in throughout the day whenever possible.

I’ve played for 15 hours since Saturday. Game of the year for me. I can’t stop!

:joy: i guess that’s the reason i stopped playing computer games… love the slow boardgames vibe :winking_face_with_tongue: and i totally understand the addiction… i loved fast games back in the days and the last really fast one was the reboot from DOOM… man it was really fast :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: compared to that Taylor Swift is a snail

Clickpocalypse II is a cool little idle RPG. Pretty fun to “play” while “working.” And totally free, in browser.

Been playing a few different little games that I like to switch between. But as I haven’t seen this one posted here, I present a fun single player, top-down, extraction shooter called Escape From Duckov (a nod to Escape From Tarkov).

Craft, progress, level-up, and eventually escape the planet! Runs are dependent on how far you want to push things and how much you can carry before returning to the bunker.
