Yep. Agree. It’s my favorite part about Kingdom Death Monster.

Is that the Beyond the Horizon expansion?

Yep correct!

Cool. Might look into that. I can get both 2e and that expansion on eBay for not a lot. I sold my original 2e.

Yeah it really isn’t too expensive right now. Definitely worth a try!

Was just thinking too, how cool would it be for Fallen Land to incorporate a town build option. Could build up and choose different things to do for your settlement. Maybe even leave certain characters there for defense against attacks. They can also be the ones doing actions to build it up and add upgrades. So many cool ideas could really expand that game.

I have a similar situation. I have one gaming space so I’m either gaming or I’m painting but I can’t do both and I’m not a massive fan of painting, I’m very slow at it and I lose interest very quickly…but I love painted minis. Gah!

I gave a try to Albions Legacy, it has some charm, but I was not impressed overall. It feels so dated, even or time of its release. If this will be released in 2000 something, it may be fine game. However this was released 10 years after Arkham Horror 2nd edition and yet it does a lot thing worse than AH (and many other games).

My biggest issue is that the game feel kind of pointless for me, I wonder the realm, looking for certain locations, based on my quest - this part is fine, I like it. But thats it, all enemies are feeling same, only difference is whether you roll 4 or 5 dice (later more, but in general there is not much difference), equipment is also uninspiring, you can use one attribut instead of other - hmm. So I just wander around till I win or loose, encounters feels same, enemies feels same, rewards feels same.

I wish this game will just be better as I like settings and there are few good things in there. It would deserve new edition, but given the success of the game, sadly, I dont think this is going to happen.

This is awesome to hear. I have the expansion sitting in my closet but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. The first release of Waste Knights was real hit or miss with us depending on scenario. When it clicked it made some very memorable moments and was an absolute blast. But not all of the scenarios in the kickstarter edition were created equally…

One of my favorite games! I love it so much. I love how good it is at creating stories, rather than telling them.

That’s the same designer of ‘After the Virus’? Been meaning to get that. Against the Virus is brilliant game.

On my table! A prototype set-up of game I’m working on. Just messing around with dice mechanics. Looking for the sweet spot!

After the virus is hands down my favorite deck builder. Do you have the expansion?

I wish they reprinted with better art.

I see now where some of your inspiration for Lands in Peril was coming from!

I do! It adds so much with only 100 cards. It’s easily becoming my favorite travel game.

I’ve never played a game that manages to maintain such a great level of tension. The number of times I’ve been 1 turn from defeat and managed to pull it off is crazy.

Please share those reasons?!

Right! With the randomly generated bestiary.
