Perfect day to learn Galzyr outside. Smell of fresh laundry with this adorable story really heals the soul. Three turns in and I think I got a handle on it. :+1: :+1: so far!

Not a game but showing off a tool I just got via Kickstarter that is sitting on my table. The Cardyhedron dice spinner is amazing. I love this thing, very functional, well made and the size of a credit card. If I’m playing a solo rpg, I usually prefer using a book small in size that I can sit on the couch with without having to worry about rolling dice. Dice rolling apps have done the trick but I’m much more of analog guy. Highly recommend these when they are more generally available. It turned out way better than I expected.

Awesome. This is definitely on my wish list, though not sooo easy to find these days…?

I just got mine this week from boardgamebliss.com but they seem to be out now. With the expansion coming in Nov hopefully they will also have a reprint.

Got an amaaazing deal on Journeys in Middle-earth (with expansions and organizer) on eBay (thank you saved-search notifications!). It’s exceeded my high expectations.

Where can we get them? It looks like they were on Kickstarter last year. Are they purchaseable now?

I remember initially they were going to start doing preorders soon but looking now at updates that may have been impacted by tariffs (yay). I’d send a note on the Kickstarter page since they could have extra stock since it was a very big Kickstarter.

I think it’s a much better game than it gets credit for. I’ve played through three campaigns and the dlc campaigns especially are really great.

What a great environment for a game of Galzyr!

It is my favorite game of all time and yet I haven’t played it in a couple of years. I need to get back to it.

Really excited to try and work a new bit of Kal-Arath in today. Popping the cassette in now to tidy up the office first.

Corps of Discovery: Have heard good things about this game (and the graphic novel). Very cool theme.

First game of Talisman this evening. Man, it took forever! I’m thinking 3-4 is a better number than 5. I can’t imagine 6!

Yeah Talisman with a group can take 4-5 hours sometimes. I love it ha but I get others may not.

Talisman has this weird place where the longer I go without playing it the more I crave it. And then after a game or two I want nothing to do with it again for another long, long while. But when it’s time to play Talisman, it’s TIME TO PLAY TALISMAN!

Been playing some Dragons Down today. Died horribly my last game, so gave it another go with the same character builds

Have to shout out @modius for the Gladden paper apps suggestion. Made my way through a few dungeon levels the other day. The game and pencil/die literally fit in my pocket. Perfect for taking anywhere you want to kill some time, and some bugs

I just got into Solo RPGs (coming from Gamebooks as a kid) with 4 Against Darkness, just the core rules. I had a blast with my first session with it, but I want something a tad crunchier I think.

Looking at Ker Nethalas, and now Machine Gods of the Noxian Expanse (thanks Dungeon Dive lol)

Great photo and I totally agree on group size. Talisman is my go to when I meet old friends at a nuetral spot like a brewery, and we chill for hours slow rolling and hanging out. Great pic too!
