Hopefully this gets tagged into the Dungeon Dive what game you playing tag…first time posting. I’m definitely sinking into Corvus Belli’s dungeon crawler, but I don’t know anyone who is playing the game. Excited though, that the bad guys are so weird. It looks like a demonic faction, but it’s more a body horror a la David Cronenberg with an elven faction that has turned feral.

Did this have resin minis or are they all plastic? I picked up the 2 player skirmish game for Warcrow and was disappointed with the resin minis. Not the quality (they were great) but I hate assembling / gluing resin. I looked at this game a few times but I wasn’t sure if the miniature situation was the same.
The minis for the board game are PVC, not resin.

So these are thermocast (pvc) plastic, and surprisingly solid in their detail. The plastic is still soft compared to the siocast, but in my opinion, much better made. I’ve the starter set, sitting in storage, because as much as I wanted to get into it, I wasn’t inspired to paint until I learned the Scions back story.

So I took the time to play 3 of the scenarios. Here are my thoughts:
So today, as I’m on summer break, I took the time to feed my gaming itch and played lol Warcrow Adventures. I have a lot to say about game design, namely, when you have a complicated system, you need an onboarding tool for solo players that’s incredibly well thought out.
If you’re going to give me an app and a physical rulebook, you really need an interfacing tutorial system to show interactions. You also really need to explain terms and languaging with examples. A lot of assumptions are made and man, that game made an ass out of me.
It was such a difficult experience in some ways there needs to be a non-denominational place to go confess so I not leaving these messages here, I need someone to counsel me on it and have me say some litanies of positivity lol
It’s probably the first game I’ve played that I would never ever make some one play it with me. I would not want to inflict it on another person.
