The Corruption of the Veiled Forest is a fantasy role play module, designed for 4-6 players, starting from level 1 to level 20.
The basic story is that there is a Balor Demon Lord Paladin who has climbed the demonic ranks through leadership and action. He now wants to become a demi-god. In order to do this he is told to come up with a plan that makes him worthy of such an action.
He decides to turn a beautiful green forest into a chaotic wasteland with portals directly to the material plane. In order to do these he creates transmogrifers, that slower transform the land from a lush green forest, to a wasted and decayed land. He enlists the help of goblinoid creatures to help eliminate any forces of light from fouling his plans, only to have their souls sacrificed to power the energy required to create the portals.
He choses the Veiled Forest because its only connected to the mainland by a few miles of land, and there are no real large cities nearby that can be a threat. He does his investigation and finds that there are a few hidden secrets in the Veiled Forest that do make it worth being in the area.
There are a few threats in the area but those can be dealt with.
The last surprise is that there is a hidden stone that if discovered could make his plan even more devestating.
The only thing that is stopping him is the heroes that come to the Veiled Forest while his plan is unfolding.
