It is not, he stresses, a necessity — that title belongs to the official Unfinished Business expansion. Hot Shots is spice on top for people who already love the game.
What’s in the box is generous: a new travel-event deck that triggers whenever you move four or more nodes, two map tiles adding Scarif, Dathomir and Yavin 4 (plus Imperial Patrol and asteroid hazard areas), nine new characters including Din Djarin with Grogu in tow, sturdy chipboard ships like the Razor Crest, and a self-contained data bank deck cleverly numbered to avoid clashing with future official releases. The standout module is the garrison tokens — planet-bound faction combat that finally gives negative reputation some teeth.
Daniel’s verdict: high quality throughout, non-essential, but a worthy indulgence if you adore Outer Rim and have the disposable income.
