Hey everyone, I have long heard the praise of this game and I am heavily considering late pledging for the new edition, but I wont lie the Gamefound page gives me anxiety with the absolute amount of content. 16 possible expansions??? Seems crazy and I am fatigued with these monstrous crowdfunded editions. Is the base game good on its own for variety? I am a sucker for variety in my games and was curious what people thought. Maybe the base game and the 3 main expansions? Thoughts?

Great question. One of my chief criticisms about the campaign is I don’t feel it communicated what was in each expansions. They had a list of “Stuff” beside each name but I didn’t have a good understanding of what that meant.

Just found this thread and thought I really want to know what people think about the upcoming expansions. I am on the fence about going with only the remastered expansions, since we know they were good, or try some of the new ones. But definitely cannot afford going all in on this massive shelf hog. Has anyone done a deep dive on the content?
