Hello everyone! I am hoping someone knows the answer to this.
I am trying to find out if either the author of 4 Against Darkness and the author/owner behind Blackoath Games use Gen AI in the creation of their works?
I personally dislike Gen AI and try to avoid it whenever possible. I am not here to cause an argument or change minds or even discuss Gen AI’s use in Solo gaming frankly. You all will have your opinions and thoughts and I got mine and I am perfectly fine with that.
Can’t speak definitively for Blackoath but Andre who does all the 4AD stuff does not. The designer, Andre, does the majority of the writing himself and a vast amount of the art. Some of the other books use commissioned and paid artists for their work and contributions in both writing and art. (Edited to add some of the supplements are written by outside contributors akin to the art)

Andrea uses it some in 4AD, but he’s also a fantastic artist and pays other artists for their assets. He uses it to speed up the process and that helps to make ends meet so he can continue doing what he does.

This is off topic but any idea when the new 4AD edition will be coming out? I’ve been holding off picking up the books because I’ve heard a new edition is on the way.
