I just got my copy of Judgement of the Realm Lords from TGC. It was a bit of an impulse-back (which is easy to do when a crowd sale is under $20) based on Daniel’s walk thru.
Anyone else back this? Anyone else playing it yet?

I did! But i live in France, so it will be a little bit long before i can try it…
And also fairly expensive. I’m always a little hesitant when p&p, taxes and import fees to Netherlands almost triple the price of an in itself cheap game. I want my money to go to the designer and printer, not to transport companies and governments (both of which I don’t disagree with in itself).
So, I discovered Wooden Tree games in Germany, that sell many TGC games for only a bit more than TGC itself, but with only 7 euros shipping Instead of 25.
I got it on the crowd sale and just got a message today that it had shipped. Im in Australia so hopefully within a couple of weeks Ill have this on the table. Mail to here varies between a week or two.
I also backed in US and just received a message that it has shipped. I look forward to this one a lot.
USPS says JoRL will be delivered today! I’m looking forward to trying it. I’ll probably rewatch Daniel’s video before I sit down with it so I have an idea of how to play and then go from there.
It’s here! Unfortunately, I don’t have time to try it now. I’m looking forward to playing either tonight or tomorrow though!
I am lucky to be local to the Game Crafters. Picked mine up last week, but still haven’t played. Hopefully this weekend if not before.
I’m not sure all these bits are going to fit in this tin! Let us know if you find a way haha
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the bits and bobs in a separate package. Thank you, Genghis-Pawn, for sharing the packing up video!
Thanks for sharing the video!
Been playing this every night, it’s fantastic. RuneBound 2nd Ed is my favorite game both for solo and multi. This really scratches that itch and is so smooth.
They do! I think I show me doing it in my video.
I played my first game and got my butt whooped! Dunno if I did something wrong, or if the game is genuinely that tough, but it was fun either way. I skipped re-watching TDD game play, so I’ll definitely watch that later to make sure I played correctly. Packing it all up went pretty smoothly though!
I figured out what I was doing wrong during combat. I was only adding one of the dice to the attack, making it super hard to hit even the tier 1 enemies lol. Using two dice made fighting tier 1 enemies so much easier!
I really fancied this one, but there’s only so many times you can flush 30-50 dollars of postage and import tax down the toilet (not many). Stupid Atlantic Ocean. Hope those that got it really enjoy it, I have a feeling it could join the ranks of tin game allstars…
not just the Atlantic ocean, but even getting it 200 miles north into Canada is prohibitively expensive. Means I have to skip the crowdfunds and wait until I can get all the games at once, during a site sale.
Yes I did - JotRL arrived Germany last week (sooooo long waiting
)
Yesterday I tried it an my hero died miserably on the first enemy ![]()

bad dice luck
I won my first game last night! I probably made some small mistakes along the way but I’m counting it
. I don’t think I did anything game breaking, but I did use the wrong enemy type for at least one encounter. Oh well. I still WON!
