I’ve never played a Horrified game and have been eyeing this one up as my first entry. Have you played others? How does it compare in your opinion?

I haven’t played this one yet, but I’ve played three of the others, and they are AMAZING. IMO, the best gateway games ever. Just pure fun.
I’m really looking forward to checking out the D&D one.
My favorite is the original Universal Monsters version.

They’re all basically the same. I like this theme a bit more than American Monsters, which was my first and until yesterday only version of it.

how is the D&D feeling coming through?
Is there a real vibe of RPG baked in the mechanics or really just a reskin?

The monsters’ attacks are thematic for D&D. Other than that it’s basically a reskin.

I Just watched a playthrough… well it’s really a reskin. Thinking about to get it… but than again a got the last one (Monsters) which is already painted and it don’t hit the table that often… so i don’t think i will get this version.
