I LOVE Renegade and am happy to get this new implementation, Deckers. Poking around, it looks like November for NA release or Essen of you’re there in October.

I think a lot of the reason Renegade didn’t catch on was its jargon which I always thought was a bum rep. Maybe cause I played it so much but I never thought it was too big of an ask. Especially in a hobby that regularly uses terms like tapping, exhausting cards, rondels, tableau, top decking, turtling, or meeple.

Either way, I do think Deckers is less jargon and weird terminology. Whatever helps the cat sell his game is cool with me.

I am very interested in the game, because it seems it has a very similar theme to Android Netrunner, which I really love. I don’t know the game Renegade, but I think I will grab a copy of the new version.
Nice additional information: The head of DeepPrint Games is also a huge fan of Netrunner. So I have high hopes for a good localization of the German version.

I could never find anywhere to buy Renegade. I wonder if it all just went stone cold because he’d arranged a publishing deal with Deep Print Games?

That’s entirely possible. I’m trying to remember now how I bought it but it’s almost like some haunted ethereal box that has just been on my shelf.
