Dead Cells: convergence of the video game and the table top game

The continuing convergence of the video game and the table top game is something I love and encourage. Love how at first it was TT influencing video games, and now video games are influencing TT games. There are so many things the two industries can learn from each other.

Dead Cells is a very good example of this.

What a gorgeous mess! Absolute eye candy, but overwhelming too

Hard to imagine how Dead Cells works as a board game but I’m intrigued. It looks so well executed in those images – looking forward to hearing what you think of it in more detail. It’s still only available as a pre-order here in Australia.

I think it’s a very well made game, but I’m not sure if it’s for me.

The package is sitting right over there, but I’m going to sell it on. The design is intriguing, but not convinced by the solo rules. And also we’re still heavily invested in Slay the Spire (sooo good :raised_hands:), so Dead Cells wouldn’t get tabled anytime soon.
