CY_Korg - A Simple Cyberpunk Solo Game

Daniel (@dungeondive) takes a brief look at CY_Korg, a cyberpunk solo micro-game in the MÖRK BORG-derived Korg line from designer Caleb at Dungeon Havoc. The premise is pure neon-soaked grindcore: you’re a gig worker hustling for 100 credits to pay off your landlord and secure a cramped stack apartment that an earthquake would topple like a house of cards. Background tables determine your fixer, your connections, and exactly why your landlord is the worst.

Daniel walks through a couple of gigs to show the game in motion — a klepto run that nets him a BFG and burns through most of his hit points, then an SOS rescue mission into a megacorp office. Psycho office drones, shredders, observers, and a radical emulator all stand between him and the cyber-doc he’s been sent to extract. Bio shots and EMP shots burned at the right moment make the difference; a glitched condition shaves credits off every kill.

His verdict: this scratches the same itch as the CY_BORG card game but with one extra layer of texture — the keyed map, the random gig types, and the little background flavour tables. Not deep, but a perfect coffee-break solo experience.
