Any tasty deals out there?

Ouch that is a lot of shipping cost. I still would consider a great deal with that included.

Shipping for me ended up being the same.

In this shipment I got three game boxes and a couple packs of promo cards. That worked out to $11 per game box, which seems worth the shipping cost to my mind. I know I have paid that much to ship a single game before.

I’m excited to dive into the world of Apocrypha this month!

Great! I’ll give it a watch!

Edit: Love that you get into all the background info in this video, by the way. I have difficulty keeping track of designers and what goes on with kickstarter histories.

Edit 2: Yep, we’ll definitely be trying this out in place of the next AH:LCG campaign when we get that particular hankering. My wife really likes dice manipulation mechanics too. Big plus!

Resuscitating this thread to note the Osprey Publishing/Games sale through July. I became aware of it in connection with the ridiculously good deal on War Story: Occupied France, a narrative/CYOA board game about which Daniel had nice things to say in this video. But they have lots of other things that could appeal to folks here as well.

Note that I believe this is a liquidation sale, as their owner Bloomsbury Publishing is shutting down the Osprey Games division (though not, as I understand it, the entirety of Osprey Publishing). So on the one hand, some of thee discounts could increase down the line, but on the other hand some of the stock may not, ever.

Thanks for the tip off!

I will find it a great shame if Osprey really is no more. Their blue book series feels like an important entity to facilitate making small to medium games available to the mainstream, and will be a real loss.

I’m no industry insider, so I don’t fully understand the division of labor between Osprey Publishing vs. Osprey Games, but my impression is that the shuttering will mainly impact the "Games’ division, such that books like the ones in your image may still be available? I’m not sure.

A big loss either way.
