I’m more of an old school sword and sorcery guy, and this LitRPG style mayhem is a long way from my comfort zone. Much to my surprise I tore through these on Audible. The audio books are more in the style of an old school radio play than just a simple reading of the text.
Embarrassing as it is… I thoroughly enjoyed this nonsense.
PS. Also seems like the perfect IP for Unstoppable – excited to hear that the crowd fund has finally started shipping this week.

I had been contemplating picking up Unstoppable for a while then saw this new implementation, which seems to be a 2.0 of the rules as well as a new IP skin. So I also backed the card game (but not the RPG - got enough of those already).
Similar to yourself, I thought I should become familiar with the IP, so I bought book 1 on kindle at the start of my week’s holiday last year. I think I read the first four or five, that week! I’ve just finished book 7 and I’m holding off book 8 for the moment to eke it out until book 9. I’m pretty hooked on the series now!
I’m looking forward greatly to the game arriving, and cudos to Renegade for an extremely well run crowd funding campaign!
