Mini painting (when I can actually make time for it) has become my life. I’m just looking for anyone who can have a serious conversation about glazing.

Oh I am aware of how people act online these days lmao. I posted on reddit about my 3D printer upgrade i got for free yesterday and it was nothing but derogatory comments about my old printer and even this one i got yesterday. Well I havent really been painting anything lately. I was working on my Vanished Realms Dungeon Crawler game, but now im going back to work on this huge game I was working on previously. But I love painting fantasy minis. And no not really into watching people tell you how to paint minitures.

Night Shift is the only painter I regularly watch on YouTube. I have limited interest in fantasy mini painters even though it’s my main hobby.
I do like watching Oakbound Studio, Jordan Sorcery, Filmdeg, and Crown of Command though.
MESBG is, in my opinion, the best playing GW system. Simple, quick, awesome setting - all good. I would confidently recommend it as an intro to tabletop wargaming. We’re starting a slow grow league at low points levels, and had a practice round last night just to get everyone on the same page. I am really looking forward to getting the full Isengard horde!

My friends just started with KillTeam and i always wanted to paint some GW Space Boyz… so i bought a KOMMANDO und build it… (Painting will follow later this month)

Oh yeah!!! it sure is!!! I remember a few years ago I uploaded this Zombie Apocalypse RPG I was working on to see if i could get some honest feedback… mind you I never actually used Reddit before so I had no clue how absurd people were on there. One of the feedbacks I got from this one guy, he had a laundry list of complaints that he said werent in the PDF but actually were, is that I had it so you needed to equip either a backpack or a fanny pack in order to carry items. He was like in a Zombie Apocalypse i would be wearing pants that had several pockets… this game is ridiculous. My simple reply was “Sir… the biggest RPG for table top gaming in history, DnD, doesnt have pockets in it… so my game doesnt have “pockets”. Never heard back from him again lol

It’s been a pretty good year for my painting - 138!
Plus a bit of plastic terrain, which isn’t my usual choice, but the old plastic ruins are a classic and the GW walls and fences are a great priced box for what would take a long time to craft.
I have enjoyed seeing all of the contributions to the thread, and look forward to more in the New Year…
